I’m from bicycles, sea shells
Tents, and canoes
I’m from comfy chairs
And warm stews
I am from hibiscus flowers
And pecan trees too
Who’s leaves I remember
from when I was bran new
I’m from Christmas Eve and Thanksgiving Day
From grandparents and cousins
I’m from Charlie Brown and Pumpkin pie
And hanging up the stockings
From gramps’s old toys
And making noise
And children who are needing
I’m from traveling songs and sing alongs
magic and mystery
I’m from Dallas and Austin
And all the people
who are dear to me
From family far away
And friends nearby
And reaching up to touch the sky

Inspire

One day I’m going to do something great! I’m going to change someone’s life. I want to be the kind of person who inspires people, and gives them someone to look up to. That’s why I started my charity. The Samantha Rylie Helmet Fund. I want to help kids have lives worth having. I recently meet a man who said he wants to make my image a reality. I would like nothing more. I’m going to make difference.
